The words “Articulate pricing 2026” in large type, for an article on Articulate 360 license pricing

Articulate 360 costs $1,749 per seat per year on the Teams plan and $1,449 per year on the Personal plan. Articulate's pricing page shows these prices in US dollars only (checked October 3, 2026). Rise and Storyline are included; translation and avatar videos are paid for in credits, starting at $250 for 50,000.

Articulate 360 pricing in 2026: how much per seat?

On its pricing page, Articulate sells the license as "Articulate 360 AI", an annual subscription. Teams, the team plan, costs $1,749 per seat per year. Personal, an individual subscription, costs $1,449 per year. Storyline has no separate price on the page: it comes with the license, along with Rise.

Articulate's pricing help article and its free trial FAQ, both updated on September 10, 2026, give the same amounts.

What does the license include, and what costs extra?

The Articulate 360 AI pricing card lists 8 items, 7 of which are common to both plans:

  • Rise: training that adapts to every screen.
  • Storyline: highly customized interactive courses.
  • AI generation: a first draft of full courses or other formats, built from your source material.
  • Integrations: Google Drive, OneDrive, Claude, ChatGPT and more.
  • Flexible distribution: trackable links, export to your learning management system (LMS) or to Reach, Articulate's built-in LMS, and downloads in more formats.
  • AI tutor: personalized, in-context guidance for learners.
  • Analytics: tracking of learner engagement and completion.

The eighth depends on the plan: Teams includes Collaboration, Personal includes Review. Apart from the price, that is the only difference shown. Further down, the page's comparison table also lists access to "20M+ assets and 1,000+ templates" as included.

Translation into 80+ languages and AI avatar videos cost extra: you pay for them with credits. According to Articulate's help article on credits, updated on September 30, 2026, credit pricing varies by contract. The minimum purchase is 50,000 credits for $250. The pricing page adds that you can buy more in 25,000-credit increments.

The rates: 1,000 credits per minute of generated avatar video, and 2 credits per source character per target language for translation. Credits are shared among the users on the subscription and expire at the end of the term, with no rollover.

How much should you budget for 1, 3 or 5 designers?

Annual license cost, without discounts:

  • 1 designer, Personal plan: 1 × $1,449 = $1,449 per year.
  • 1 designer, Teams plan: 1 × $1,749 = $1,749 per year.
  • 3 designers, Teams plan: 3 × $1,749 = $5,247 per year.
  • 5 designers, Teams plan: 5 × $1,749 = $8,745 per year.

These totals exclude credits. For a team, use the Teams price. Personal is an individual subscription: according to Articulate's FAQ, a creator who buys one is removed from the team, and their content moves to the new subscription.

For 5 or more seats, Articulate offers a multi-year commitment that locks in current pricing, with annual payments. Its pricing help article lists no volume discount.

Free trial, education pricing, local currency: what are the terms?

According to Articulate's FAQ, the free trial lasts 14 days, with no credit card required, and comes with 50,000 credits to try avatar videos and translation. You can add up to 10 more creators, for a total of 11 licenses including yours.

During the trial, PDF, web and LMS exports carry a watermark. When it ends, your content stays unpublished, and you can't create or edit until you subscribe. Articulate keeps your content on its servers for up to 6 months after the trial ends.

According to the pricing help article, the Articulate 360 education discount brings Teams down to $1,311 per user per year and Personal to $1,086 per year. It is for qualifying institutions and students.

The pricing page displays prices in US dollars only. To pay in your local currency, you buy through a certified Articulate reseller, and your seats are available within 72 hours. In euros, the reseller Distrisoft lists the annual subscription at €1,330 to €1,605 excluding VAT (checked October 5, 2026).

Prices and features checked on the vendor's website on October 3 and 4, 2026. Confirm current pricing before you decide.

What should you check before you buy?

  1. Count your seats. One per person who creates content: according to the Articulate 360 AI product page, reviewers don't need a license.
  2. Estimate your credits. Add up your minutes of avatar video and the text to translate, language by language, then apply the rates.
  3. Use the trial. Invite your designers, export a module to your LMS, test an avatar video.
  4. Ask the open questions. The pricing page says nothing about storage or taxes. Ask about both before you buy, along with the support level in your contract.

Complement, which publishes this blog, charges for a designer license plus a per-learner fee, by the hour or by the month (Complement's pricing, as of October 2026). So you can't compare the two price lists line by line.

Complement modules can't be exported, to SCORM or any other format. They plug into your LMS through the LTI 1.3 standard (priced on request) or are shared through a public link. If your LMS only supports SCORM, that's a blocker, so check this up front. In that case, Articulate is the right choice: the comparison table on its pricing page lists "Export for any LMS as a SCORM, xAPI, or cmi5 package" as included.

To see an AI avatar present a course and answer learners' questions, you can try Complement for free for 7 days, no credit card required.
