Your courses become conversations. The AI tutor presents the course, answers each student's questions and assesses them orally, from the very first tutorial to executive education. Integrated with your LMS via LTI 1.3.

Lecture hall
where no one dares to ask a question
One professor facing the whole cohort: most students don't dare to interrupt. Misunderstandings stay silent until exam time.
-
80%
of content forgotten after 7 days
A lecture listened to without interaction is soon forgotten. Recognising a concept is not knowing how to apply it: without exercises or questions, nothing sticks before the exam.
-
50–100 h
to produce 1 hour of online course
With traditional authoring tools, putting a course online takes weeks of production. Professors don't have that time.
-
7%
completion on optional online courses
The flipped classroom only works if students prepare for the session. With a video or a PDF, most turn up without having done so.
-
20%
of students share feedback
The rest say nothing about what they understood. And the end-of-semester questionnaire comes too late to adjust the course along the way.
-
25%
of students have a learning difficulty
One pace for a mixed cohort: a tutor adapts to each student, a PDF doesn't.
The best learning experience? A one-to-one video call with a tutor who explains, rephrases and checks understanding.
Complement gives one to every student.

Remediation
A tutor on hand to bring everyone up to speed
First-year, work-study or direct-entry students: each catches up on the prerequisites at their own pace, with a tutor who rephrases as often as needed.
- Explanations adapted to each level
- Repetition of concepts not yet mastered
- Available at any hour
-
Executive education
Remote courses, always up to date
Distance degrees, executive masters, certificates: your professors turn their slide decks into conversational courses, with no filming, and update them in minutes.
- A one-hour course online in 90 minutes
- Instant content updates
- Multi-year institutional licence
Your professors already have their slide decks. AI turns them into an interactive course with a tutor, which the professor reviews and adjusts, no technical skills required.
-
01
Describe your course
Topic, audience, tone: a few words are enough. You can also start straight from your materials.
-
02
Add your materials
PowerPoint, PDF, Word, Excel or legacy SCORM packages: AI uses them as raw material.
-
03
AI builds the course
Chapters, slides, tutor scripts, quizzes and interactions: a complete first draft in minutes.

04
You review and publish
Rephrase a script, move a slide, add a question. Then publish, standalone or in your LMS.

Professors stay in control of the content
Easy to pick up. No agency, no delays.
Complement doesn't reproduce a traditional online course. It reproduces tutoring: a tutor who talks to the student, adapts and asks questions.
Adaptive learning
The tutor adjusts its explanations to each student's level and answers. Students set the voice, the pace and the tone.
End-of-chapter oral quiz
The tutor quizzes the student orally on the key concepts. AI assesses the answer and corrects it instantly.
A course that isn't set in stone
Unlike a recorded lecture, the tutor answers questions and goes deeper into unclear points: every session is unique.
Designed for every student
25% of students have a learning difficulty. Spoken format, personal pace, repetition of concepts not yet mastered.
A course that adapts, not static content
- Video / SCORMStatic
- Simple chatbotPartial
- ComplementAdaptive

Points and levels
Every concept mastered earns experience points.

Listening and answering out loud makes the course more interactive. And since I'm on my own, I can focus more.
I really like it because I can ask the questions I didn't get the chance to ask in class. It's clear, and I can ask whatever I want.
This method of learning is better: answering out loud helps me memorise.
It's very useful: I don't have to email my professor, because if I have a question I can just ask and interrupt. And the tips I get are very useful.
It helped a lot: the questions and answers at the end, with the reasoning explained, are helping me understand this course.
As someone with no background in business, finance, economics or accounting, I'm really relying on Complement: it helps me understand the core material and dig deeper into the course.
Through oral exchanges and built-in surveys, you collect 100% of student feedback, not just 20%, and before the end of the semester. Drop a survey question between two slides: the tutor asks it mid-course, and each student answers out loud or in writing to carry on.

What academic leaders and IT departments ask us first.
Does Complement integrate with our LMS (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard)?
Yes, via the LTI 1.3 standard, supported by Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace and most LMSs. Your students open the course from their usual space, and both progress and scores flow back to the gradebook. Complement does not produce SCORM packages: that format does not let the tutor keep track of the conversation from one slide to the next. Integration takes a few hours with your IT department.
Does the AI tutor give students the answers?
No. The tutor explains, rephrases and gives examples; but during oral quizzes, it assesses the student's answer instead of providing it, and guides them towards the right answer rather than handing it over. In the dashboard, the professor can see the answers given and the concepts that caused difficulty.
Can the tutor stray beyond the course?
No: the tutor's answers are limited to the sources the professor provided (slide deck, texts, attached documents). If a question falls outside the scope of the course, the tutor says so and brings the student back to the content. The professor remains the author of the course; the AI does not invent chapters.
How does licensing work for an institution?
Institutions are generally on an annual or multi-year licence, sized to the number of students, with the authoring tool, the AI tutor and analytics included. Support with designing the first courses is included. To test it first, the 7-day free trial lets a professor create a complete course without a credit card.
Is student data protected?
Compleducation SAS is a French company. Data is hosted in Europe (GCP) and the AI models run on Azure servers in Europe: nothing leaves the European Union. Exchanges between students and the tutor belong to your institution and are never used to train a model. A data processing agreement (DPA) is provided on request. Hosting, encryption, DPA and retention periods (in French).
How long does it take to put a course online?
A one-hour course goes online in about 1h30: slide deck import, text written or dictated slide by slide, end-of-chapter questions, publishing in the LMS. Professors who use voice dictation go faster. Traditional authoring tools take 50 to 100 hours for the same result.
Create your account in 2 minutes and test it with 5 students.
