Why is a course's publication refused?
Empty chapter, missing quiz, slide without a script, incomplete multiple-choice question or technical error: each publication message and how to fix it.

When you click Publish, Complement first checks that the course is complete. If something is missing, publication stops and a message appears. It reports one problem at a time: fix it, then click Publish again.
Check messages#
| Message | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "A chapter must contain at least one slide" | A chapter has no slides. | Add a slide to it, or delete it. |
| "Every chapter must have a quiz" | A chapter has no quiz questions. | Under its last slide, click Add content › Quiz. |
| "Every slide must have an image and a text" | A slide has no visual or no script, or a survey question is empty. | Complete every slide and every survey. Video slides are not affected. |
| "Every quiz question must have a question and an answer" | The Question to ask or the Expected answer is missing. | Fill in both fields. In a multiple-choice question, the answer is the Explain why field. |
| "A MCQ cannot have only one choice" | A multiple-choice question has only one choice. | Click Add choice, or Cancel MCQ to go back to an open question. |
| "MCQ choices cannot be empty" | A choice has no text. | Fill it in, or remove it with its cross. |
| "A MCQ must have at least one correct choice" | No choice is ticked. | Tick each correct answer: it is marked Correct. |
Slides imported from a PDF or images do not have a script yet: write one for each before publishing. See Write the avatar's script.
